Should You Back It: Tradewars - Homeworld: Exterra Edition

Tradewars - Homeworld: Exterra Edition is a 1-4 player competitive deck-building space combat game, involving asymmetric powers and resource management. Each player represents one of the remaining four Terran factions (mega-corporations) in the galaxy, who compete to increase their faction’s wealth and defend their homeworlds.

The game's core is built around a refreshing approach to the deck-building mechanic, where each player selects 1 of 10 different roles during their turn, which adds more depth, strategy, and meaningful decision-making to the game.

This Kickstarter is to print a second edition of the game based on feedback after publishing the original. Besides incorporating that feedback from players, the creator is using new art and states the second edition is "specifically designed to support solo play."

Some features of the game and this Kickstarter:
•   Huge Kickstarter discounts estimated at 35% off MSRP.
•   Unlocked Stretch Goal expansions will be sold separately after Kickstarter, but backers will be getting them for FREE
•   Free shipping to US, CA, DE, and UK
•   Money Back Guarantee: If you don’t like the game for any reason, you may return it within 30 days of receiving it for a full refund of the version you pledged for. You'll just need to provide the return postage.

Should You Back It?

Yes. It's silly to think that I would tell you not to back it, but I have a main reason as to why you should... BUILT IN SOLO RULES. You don't have to wait for the game to hit a certain benchmark for solo play to be built in. The creators took the time to put it in place from the get go, so that is a huge plus. The price point of $29, for the game including shipping, is perfect to get in on. You'll get all stretch goals, and there is a money back guarantee. It's going to be so good they are offering that. Win/Win again. This deckbuilding game looks to be a different style of deckbuilder , and that makes it stand out more to me as well. I like my card games after all. So I am on board for Tradewars - Homeworld: Exterra Edition, how about you?
